Certified First Responder Dementia Trainer® CFRDT®.

When violent incidents occur, police officers are often the first responders. Yet, experts have observed, they "do not have the training to recognize or handle individuals with dementia. There are a growing number of incidents when individuals with dementia are arrested, handcuffed, and incarcerated for days due to the lack of alternatives to incarceration to address the needs of this population"

Spurgeon, Sabatino Coleman, et al.2001
