Call us and discuss your needs. We conduct face to face interactive training with your employees. This is a fantastic opportunity to instruct many employees at one time in one location.

This is a cost-effective way to provide face to face training in your own facility.  From NCCDP's inception, employees have continuously reported that the Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia training program was the most comprehensive and dynamic program they have ever attended.

If you are in charge of a conference, this is a fantastic seminar to offer to your participants.  Participants who have not attended a past seminar due to travel restrictions and travel costs won’t want to miss this training.

As soon as you have a specific date. We recommend scheduling a training date (seminar) six months in advance.  If you have an urgent need for training and can not wait, we recommend contacting the NCCDP office directly. The NCCDP Corporate Staff will work with you to arrange a training date that is convenient for your needs. We do not dictate the size of the audience. We recommend that you have a large enough teaching space to comfortably accommodate the audience size. Appropriate teaching space includes tables and chairs. The environment should be noise-free and overhead paging eliminated during the seminar.  If possible the classroom should be located near restrooms.

We ask that you contact our corporate office to discuss your needs and the type of training you are interested in.  For the Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Seminar (8 - hour seminar 8:30 to 5:00), each participant receives a hand out notebook. The seminar is cost-effective because there is no class size limit. This saves your organization money when training a large group of employees.  In comparing the cost to send only a few employees to this seminar because of the fees (travel and time away from the job), many companies find this program cost-effective.  This is a program that is appropriate for all your staff. Having an on-site seminar allows for more of your employees to attend. Additionally, your marketing director may wish to invite guests such as local professionals, Geriatric Care Managers, Social Workers, etc.

When you book a seminar, the NCCDP will provide a date to order the student handout notebooks. Student handout notebooks may be ordered directly with the NCCDP. Student handout notebooks can be ordered in a 3 ring binder with tabs, spiral bound with tabs, and or digital download. We do not allow the student handout notebooks to be copied. Payment is required at the time student handout notebooks are ordered. Once the notebooks are ordered, there are no refunds. At the time of booking your private training or association conference, the NCCDP will provide you with the costs of the student handout notebooks and discuss a plan that works best for you.

The NCCDP can provide you with a master hand out notebook (copy) and the organizer of the event would be responsible for making the copies exactly the way it is provided by the NCCDP. If you prefer, the NCCDP instructor can bring the notebooks to you. Notebooks are to be ordered 3 weeks in advance. Payment is required at the time the notebook order is placed. The notebooks fee is non-refundable. At the time of the booking, the NCCDP will provide you with the costs of the books and discuss a plan that works best for you.

The notebooks are shipped to the person who organized the event. We can not ship to P.O. boxes. There must be someone available to sign for the packages.  The NCCDP will only ship directly to a facility or business. The NCCDP is not responsible for lost packages.

The NCCDP has a list of approved NCCDP Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainers CADDCT. The names are posted on the web site. You may also contact NCCDP directly and arrange training by NCCDP corporate staff.

The NCCDP corporate staff conducts the Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer program.  The price is based on the number of participants. The Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer seminar may be taught at the same time as the NCCDP Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Seminar.

The class is from 8:00 Pm to 7:30 P.M. The participant receives Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care PowerPoint curriculum on a memory stick, Instructor Manual, Master Hand out Notebook, Tests, Text Books, DVD, Sample Certificates, Sample Evaluations, and marketing information and how to obtain CEU’s. Students who are attending the Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer seminar do not need to have prior certification as a CDP to qualify to attend the CADDCT seminar.

Corporate trainers, consultants, nurse educators, in-service directors.

Only the NCCDP corporate staff can provide the Dementia Care Manager Course.

The CDCM Certified Dementia Care Manager seminar is taught only after completing the required CADDCT seminar. The CDCM is presented via ZOOM and is 3 hours. The student will receive a memory care neighborhood policy and procedure manual. The manual cannot be duplicated nor copied in any format and is intended to be used as a guide in developing policies for a memory care neighborhood in an assisted living community or nursing home. The manual includes admissions, discharge agreements, dementia unit manager job description, wandering committee guidelines, etc.

Dementia unit managers or supervisors who provide direct supervision for an Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia unit.

Yes. We support corporations' desire to train and certify their staff but also recognize budgetary needs. Upon completing the seminar, the facility will bundle the applications together, attach each employee’s certification or license, and a copy of the Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care training certificate. The company designee will go to portalstaging.nccdp.org and set up a corporate group (10 or more) account. The company designee will enter each employee's full name and email address, and submit payment. Immediately, the employees will receive an email with instructions to complete their applications online. This is a much faster way to have the staff apply for certification. Once bundled, the applications are mailed with payment to the NCCDP Corporate Office. The NCCDP can also offer a discount for participants attending a conference. The NCCDP will provide a letter to be given to your participants at a discounted price. Please call the NCCDP to ask about corporate or conference discounts.

State, County, Regional, National, and International Associations. NCCDP will ship either student handout notebooks to the conference center. The association can order the student handout notebooks in a 3 ring binder with tabs, spiral bound with tabs, or the association can order the student handout notebooks as a digital download.
